Over the years, we’ve completed refurbishments and fit-outs for the leading fast food burger chain all over the UK. As one of four preferred contractors, we are trusted to deliver consistent, quality standards in Burger King-owned and franchise outlets as the company innovates its designs to offer the best possible customer experience.
With more than 500 UK restaurants in its portfolio, Burger King is committed to further expansion, with plans to open at least 90 more outlets by 2022.
As the fast food chain has set its sights on high-footfall areas, including transport hubs, retail parks, high streets and shopping centres, we are regularly commissioned to fit-out new sites and refurbish existing landlord units.
We’ve completed fourteen projects to date, including our first Burger King drive-thru in 2019, and have many more projects in the pipeline.
Our relationship with Burger King dates back to 2018, when a Byron Burger project manager we had worked with joined the chain as head of construction and invited us onto the tender list.
Since then, whether it’s stripping out and transforming a former Strada or fitting out a brand-new drive-thru, we’ve worked to translate corporate brand designs developed in America into quality, durable, cost-effective finishes with eye-catching bespoke elements for outlets across the UK.
With quick reaction times critical and project deadlines tight, we understand timing is crucial and employ our expertise in project management to make sure every handover is completed on time.
During one of our most recent fit-outs, we delivered a brand-new drive-thru restaurant for Burger King on a leisure complex in Durham, incorporating some of the chain’s latest design innovations.
With customer experience key in the 270sq m shell, we installed electronic ordering points to help streamline the ordering process, new specification finishes and free-style machines serving several drinks options.
Burger King was keen to offer more of a dining experience, so our installation included a rebrand of the front-of-house area, with new-style seating and table layouts.
This project is one of several that marks our developing relationship with Burger King. While continuing with the fit-outs and refurbishments we deliver for Burger King UK, we are also embarking on multiple projects this year with the separate franchise network.
Going forward we have plans to work with SSP and Euro Garages to develop sites in locations such as service stations and major railway stations.
