The perfect addition to a solar installation, Tesla Powerwall battery storage is an innovative product that helps you get the most from solar power generated on site. Tesla have recently launched their Powerwall 3, their third generation battery with exciting new features.
Powerwall 3, unlike its predecessors has an integral hybrid solar inverter which power from the array is stored prior to being distributed into your property.
With the Tesla app, you can control your energy usage and see exactly how your system is performing. In addition to this, time based controls within the app enable you to utilise off-peak power by charging from the grid during these low rate times for use within your property during peak times.
As well as maximising energy tariffs, you can also earn revenue by selling back to the grid when demand is high.
Another benefit of Powerwall is the benefit of off-grid back up in the event of a power outage. Unlike many other systems, Powerwall will work independently to the grid enabling you to keep power to your property.
